This FN model 1930 Colombian Mauser has been converted from the original 7x57 caliber to the 30-06 cartridge by R.Famage in 1952!

The FN Model 1930 series is based on the Mauser Gewehr 98 pattern rifles and has a standard length action of 223mm/8.8 in. They come with open sights, and are chambered in 7.65x53mm, 7x57mm, 8×57mm IS, .30-06 Springfield or 7.62x51 NATO. They are available in long rifle, short rifle, and carbine-length barrels with smooth hardwood stocks, and straight or curved bolt handles. In the early 1940s, Colombia purchased 1930 rifles, which were designated as the Model 1940 in 7×57mm Mauser. Many of them were later converted to .30-06 Springfield after 1950 and served alongside newly produced FN Model 1950 short rifles and carbines.
