The FN FNX-45 Tactical Semi-Auto Pistol is a high-performance firearm that builds upon the proven design of the original FNP-45, which was developed for the U.S. Joint Combat Pistol Program. Tailored for both combat and self-defense, the FNX-45 offers exceptional reliability and versatility in a polymer-frame pistol. Its hammer-fired action ensures consistent and dependable performance, while the cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel—with a polished chamber and feed ramp—ensures smooth feeding and extraction, even in harsh conditions. The barrel is also threaded (.578×28 tpi), making it suppressor-ready right out of the box, and comes with a thread protector to safeguard the threads when a suppressor is not in use. The FNX-45 is equipped with raised 3-dot Trijicon tritium night sights, allowing users to maintain accuracy in low-light environments, even when a suppressor is attached. The pistol's steel slide, with front and rear serrations, provides a secure grip during loading or clearing, while the overall construction, including steel rails within the polymer frame and a steel recoil spring guide rod, maximizes durability and reliability.
