Item Description
Bryant Ridge Auction Company is pleased to present this example today for a penny start auction, this is the FN Model 1930 Action!
SPECIFICATIONS:
Manufacturer: FN
Model: 1930 Action
Serial: 18673
Action length: 8.8"
Finish: Blue
Action: Bolt-Action
Markings: Standard / Top of receiver stamped with the FN crest, Right side of receiver stamped with proof marks.
Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The FN Model 1930 rifle series is based on the Mauser Gewehr 98 pattern. These rifles have a standard length action of 223mm (8.8 inches) and come with open sights, with a choice of 7.65x53mm, 7x57mm, 8×57mm IS, .30-06 Springfield, or 7.62x51 NATO chambering. They are available in long rifle, short rifle, and carbine-length barrels with hardwood stocks and straight or curved bolt handles. After World War I and the defeat of Germany, Belgium manufactured a derivative of the Mauser 98, with slight modifications. The rifle series was modified depending on each customer's needs. The designation Mle 24/30 is technically incorrect since the Model 24 rifle is different from the Model 30. However, both versions were marketed simultaneously in the 1930s.
This FN Model 1930 Bolt-Action rifle has a total length of 8.8 inches and is characterized by an FN crest stamped on its receiver, blue finish, and a straight bolt handle. This bolt-action is ideal for those who are looking to replace their current bolt-action or for those who want to build their own FN Model 1930 rifle.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3 day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
