Building upon the success of the FNP™-45 Tactical, which was initially developed for the U.S. Joint Combat Pistol Program, the FNX™-45 Tactical emerges as a formidable combat handgun meticulously crafted for the rigors of battle. With a lineage deeply rooted in FN's legendary firearms, this handgun is engineered not just to endure but to triumph on the battlefield. Representing the pinnacle of handgun engineering, it delivers exceptional .45 ACP performance alongside a suite of unparalleled features. Its 15-round magazine is ingeniously designed to smoothly transition from a dive to the prone position, effortlessly aligning towards the target. The checkered polymer frame, boasting a low-bore axis, mitigates felt recoil while enhancing operator control, complemented by a grip angle that ensures an instinctive natural point of aim. Providing further customization, four interchangeable backstraps are included to tailor the grip feel to individual preferences. Operating controls are fully ambidextrous, facilitating seamless use for all shooters. The 5.3" cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel, featuring a threaded muzzle, readily accepts various accessories, including sound suppressors and compensators. The stainless steel slide is equipped with high-profile combat night sights and incorporates two mounting bases to accommodate a range of optional red-dot electronic sights, ensuring optimal adaptability for diverse tactical scenarios.
