The GLOCK® 22 Gen5 Semi-Auto Pistol represents the evolution of a classic, serving as the fifth generation of the renowned 40 caliber handgun that has become a staple for law enforcement agencies worldwide. Building upon the success of its predecessors, the G22 incorporates popular upgrades characteristic of Generation 5 GLOCK pistols. These enhancements include the Glock Marksman Barrel for improved accuracy, removal of finger grooves, and an ambidextrous slide release for enhanced versatility. The reversible magazine catch adds to the pistol's ambidextrous design. Notably, the slide features factory serrations on both the front and back, facilitating smoother manipulation during operation. The beveled front of the firearm ensures easier reholstering, a valuable feature for law enforcement professionals. Moreover, GLOCK's latest ion-bonded nDLC coating adorns both the slide and barrel, providing a truer black finish and enhanced performance in dry conditions. Addressing user feedback, the front strap no longer incorporates finger grooves, ensuring a comfortable grip for shooters of all hand sizes.
