The GLOCK 45 Gen5 9mm Semi-Auto Pistol is a highly anticipated hybrid between the Glock 19 and Glock 17, which combines the shorter slide assembly (4.02" Barrel) from the 19 with the longer grip of the 17. This hybrid design provides a comfortable grip for people with larger hands, who may find the Glock 19 grip too short. The G45 features the same upgrades as all of the Generation 5 GLOCK pistols, such as the Glock Marksman Barrel, and eliminating leaf springs in favor of new coil spring designs for increased reliability and longevity. Additionally, the slide release is ambidextrous and the magazine catch is reversible. The slide has front and back factory serrations for better grip and the front is beveled for easier reholstering. The 45 fits almost any 19 holster and comes with GLOCK's latest ion-bonded nDLC coating, which is a truer black and functions better in dry conditions. The front strap no longer has finger grooves, allowing any finger size to comfortably grip the firearm. GLOCK's MBS (Modular Backstrap System) allows you to add or remove backstop pieces, including a beaver tail, to eliminate slide bite. Finally, in front of the trigger guard, you'll find an integral accessory rail that supports various light and laser accessories.
