The HS Precision Pro-Series 2000 HTR is a dream come true for long-range shooters! This Heavy Tactical Rifle, also known as the HTR, is manufactured by American-based H-S Precision, Incorporated and is yet another sound entry into the crowded sniper rifle market as far as the military/police forced of the world go. The weapon is well-respected by its operators and offers considerable accuracy-at-range. The compete system weighs a manageable 5 kilograms (dependent upon accessories fitted and length of barrel used).
The HTR is operated through the manual management of the bolt-action lever which is set to the gun's right side near the trigger region. A heavily-fluted barrel comes standard in all HTR models. The cheekpiece is made adjustable to suit shooter comfort and the trigger can be customized for length-of-pull. The stock is of composite construction with aluminum used in the full-length bedding block. Sections of the picatinny rail are features over the receiver to allow the shooter to utilize additional tactical accessories or sighting scope. A bipod is set under the forend and hinged to fold away when not in use. The HTR is available in two chambered forms - .308 Winchester and .338 Lapua Magnum. Muzzle velocity of the outgoing round reaches up to 900 meters-per-second and effective firing ranges are out to 800 meters with maximum range as far out as 1,500 meters. Beyond its services in the military and law enforcement circles, the HTR has also proven popular in competition shooting circuits!

With 100 MOA of elevation travel and 20 MOA or 10 mils of travel per turret revolution, respectively, per turret version, no target will be out of range of this scope. Optional Nightforce Zero Stop elevation turret and standard illuminated reticle compliment the side parallax adjustment, rounding out the most popular scope Nightforce has yet produced.
