The Automag IV is one of four automatic pistols that were manufactured by Irwindale Arms Inc. after it purchased AMT in 1988. In 1991, AMT re-acquired the rights to the pistols, making the iAi pistols a desirable area in AMT collecting. The Automag IV is similar in design to other Automag series pistols but is chambered for the powerful .45 Winchester Magnum. The .45 Win Mag is popular with both hunters and silhouette shooters, as it can push a 230-grain projectile to an astonishing 1,600 feet per second!
The IAI Automag IV is a large single-action semi-automatic pistol produced by IAI. Harry Sanford, the inventor of the original .44 AutoMag pistol, created this model, which fires the powerful .45 Winchester Magnum round.
Condition/Contents:
The owner states that this example remains in New Old Stock condition and we see no evidence to indicate otherwise. This example will ship with the matching factory-labeled box, one magazine, and a manual!
