These receivers were made by Imbel in Brazil and are forged from steel, which is superior to cast FN receivers. The black finished receiver is labeled on the top left with "S.A.R.-4800 7.62mm" and "SA-14549 SPORTER". The right side of the receiver is marked with "Springfield Armory Geneseo IL USA MADE IN BRAZIL 1005-SA-48-MATCH".
