The Iver Johnson brand was a well-known American manufacturer of firearms, bicycles, and motorcycles. They produced the Iver Johnson Cadet 55-SA, a 5-shot revolver manufactured from 1961 to 1978. The revolver was available in different calibers such as .22 rimfire, .22 WMR, .32 S&W, .38 S&W, and .38 Spl. It can fire in both Double and Single action modes, and this particular model is chambered in .32 S&W Long.
