Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
This revolver, manufactured by Iver Johnson's Arms & Cycle Works, was sold through wholesale trade but never listed in any official Iver Johnson catalog. However, it was featured in some European catalogs as an original Iver Johnson product. It was available in .22 rimfire, .32, or .38 centerfire calibers, and could come in large or small frame configurations with either a blue or nickel finish. The revolver had options for 5 or 7 shots and came with a 3 or 3 1/4-inch barrel, although 5-inch barrels have also been observed. It lacked a hammer action and featured a safety notch on the hammer. Standard grips were made of hard rubber with "U.S." marked at the top, while oversized two-piece hard rubber grips were optional. The main serial number was located on the left side of the grip frame, and the revolver weighed between 12 to 17 3/4 ounces. This model was manufactured between 1910 and 1935.
