During the 1950s and 1960s, the Hawes Firearm Company played a major role in importing European firearms to America. They were the first company to import JP Sauer & Sohn firearms to America. JP Sauer & Sohn is the oldest active firearms manufacturer in Germany. Hawes teamed up with JP Sauer & Sohn to produce a series of single-action guns called the Marshall series, which were available in several calibers. These mid-range quality firearms were produced inexpensively in Germany when the German market was undervalued, then sold under an American brand to Americans.
This J.P Sauer & Sohn Western Six-Shooter is chambered in .22LR and features a blue finish, 5.5" barrel, fixed blade front with fixed notch rear, and Synthetic Stag grips that complete the look and feel of a true single action revolver from the old west.
