The Kimber R7 Mako is Kimber’s first venture into the world of polymer-framed, striker-fired, high-capacity subcompact pistols, designed to rival top contenders like the SIG P365 and Springfield Hellcat. Featuring a glass-filled nylon frame and a steel central chassis for added rigidity, the R7 Mako is built for durability and control. Its 3.37-inch stainless barrel is fitted with and treated with an FNC hard-coating for corrosion resistance. What sets the R7 Mako apart is its low-profile ejection port, which minimizes optics fouling and enhances slide strength, along with its ambidextrous controls and wraparound grip texturing that offer excellent ergonomics for both right- and left-handed users.
