The Vector SDP (Special Duty Pistol) is a semi-automatic firearm designed with a permanently affixed cap that includes a sling mount in place of a folding stock. A variant of the Vector SDP, the Vector SDP-SB (Special Duty Pistol – Stabilizing Brace), comes equipped with an SB Tactical arm brace for added stability. Similar to the AR-15 rifle, the Vector is built around two primary assemblies that are secured by four push pins. The lower assembly contains the action, charging handle, magazine well, and barrel, while the upper assembly houses the ejection port, rail system, pistol grip, fire control components, and stock (when applicable). This modular construction enables toolless caliber conversions by simply swapping out the lower assembly. The Vector’s design features ambidextrous controls for both safety and fire mode selection on the auto trigger pack. However, certain controls—such as the ejection port, charging handle, bolt release catch, and magazine release—are configured exclusively for right-handed use.
