The updated Marlin® 1895SBL Lever-Action Rifle, the first Marlin model made by Ruger®, introduces an arsenal of new advantages over its predecessor. Improved manufacturing processes and multi-layered quality control procedures ensure the tightest tolerances for reliability from the range to the hunt.
Crafted from 410 stainless steel, the cold hammer-forged barrel boasts ultra-precise rifling for exceptional accuracy and longevity. Threaded barrel with 11/16" x 24 pattern and factory-installed thread protector accommodates a muzzle brake or other barrel accessories. Nickel-plated bolt with spiral flutes contributes smooth cycling and a distinctive look. Refined stock fit and thinner forend improve aesthetics and shooting ergonomics.
Improved finish on the stock and forend combines with the sharp checkered grip panels to ensure a confident grip in all conditions. Durable, laminate stock and forend construction endures varying weather conditions without fail and comes equipped with a soft-rubber buttpad to effectively absorb recoil. Ghost ring rear sight adjusts for windage and elevation, and the tritium fiber optic front sight offers superior visibility for quick target acquisition in low light. Updated Picatinny rail adds a stable mounting surface for scope rings and optics.
Oversized lever loop offers the extra room needed to operate wearing heavy gloves. Marlin 1895SBL lever-action rifle also features a 6-round, tubular magazine with a loading gate; positive, push-button, cross bolt manual safety; and traditional half-cock hammer with offset hammer spur. 416 stainless steel CNC-machined receiver, lever, and trigger guard plate.
