This rifle has amazing potential. A qualified gunsmith can determine the caliber by taking a chamber cast, and that is the first step in getting this rifle back up and running. The tang is drilled and tapped for a Vermeer tang sight, and the barrel is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. The octagon barrel give an elegant and old fashioned look to this beautiful antique. This will look as great hung on a wall as it would slung over a shoulder.
