There is a long a complicated history of the McMillan family businesses. From the very beginning when two brothers, Pat and Gale McMillan, started making fiberglass stocks for their benchrest shooting friends, to when Wes Harris and German investors bought the stock making company, and then when Gale and his sons Rock and the late Kelly McMillan (d. 2021) began building custom rifle actions and muzzle brakes in their home state of Arizona, their mission has always been to create an environment of affordability and quality for anyone wanting to break into the precision shooting arena. Kelly's son Ryan continued in the family tradition of making affordable, high quality rifle stocks after conquering the Navy's most greuling training and completing two tours with SEAL Team 2.
This history makes this rifle more than just a lock, stock, and barrel. History makes this rifle an embodiment, a story, a physical representation of all the emotions of love, loss, and resilience that the McMillan family must have poured into their work. What memories played like movies in their minds as they machined the bolt lugs and spiral flutes on the bolt body? What hopes did they have for their creation as the nearly finished parts sank into the molten salt for the special heat treating procedure? Was there resentment or forgiveness as the action screws were toqued to final spec through the composite stock?
No doubt, this rifle was made with quality, strength, stability, accuracy, and precision in mind. What can be surmised as the most important aspect the builders had in mind, however, was you; the shooter!

NOTE:
According to the consigner, this rifle has only been fired approximately 75 times.
