This is a Montana Rifle Company Model 1999 SS in .325 WSM with a 24” barrel. The Montana Rifle Company manufactures three different series of bolt action rifles, featuring its Model 1999 action, which is a hybrid between the Model 70 and the Mauser 98. This action utilizes a Model 70 trigger and three position safety, but also incorporates the Mauser 98 breeching system with the C-ring and large claw extractor. It also has a five point gas venting system and a new style bolt release knob.
