The Model 500, which is known for its reliability, versatility and affordability, has been modified to create the 535. This upgraded model offers a heavy magnum load that is both powerful and affordable. Although there are some tradeoffs, the 535 remains one of the best choices for turkey, small game, and deer hunting. All Model 535 shotguns are pump-action and feature a five-shot magazine, a safety mounted conveniently at the top rear of the receiver, a standard Model 500 shell carrier, and a heavier bolt.
