In 2015, O.F. Mossberg and Sons, Inc. introduced a new version of its popular Blaze rimfire rifle. The Blaze-47 Synthetic model features an adjustable, synthetic stock with a black finish, a 25-round magazine capacity (no magazine included with this example), and a 16.5-inch free-floating barrel with a 1:16 twist rate. The rifle is designed to replicate the look and feel of the AK-47, making it perfect for plinking, target shooting, or small game hunting. The Blaze-47's receiver and action are molded from durable, lightweight polymers, while the bolt, firing pin, and bolt handle are made of metal. The rifle also features an ambidextrous thumb safety, lever-activated 6-position adjustable stock, fiber optic rear sight, and a raised front rifle sight. The stock can be adjusted from 11 to 14.25 inches to fit different shooters.
