Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
This is a rare O.F. Mossberg & Sons Model 190 16 Gauge bolt-action shotgun that's up for auction. It was only produced between 1955 and 1958, and it's not often seen today. This model boasts a detachable box magazine, a 26" barrel with a factory-installed C-Lect choke, and a Walnut Monte Carlo-style stock with a red Mossberg recoil pad. It was considered Mossberg's top-of-the-line bolt-action shotgun and was sold at a premium price over the base models available at the time. Unfortunately, sales were not as good as they had hoped, and the model was discontinued before the end of 1958.
