Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
Olympic Arms produced a unique AR-15 pistol known as the OA-93. It had a barrel shroud and the first model Phantom flash hider. What made it different was that it had a 6.5" barrel and the recoil assembly was located above the upper receiver, eliminating the need for a buffer tube with spring. Unfortunately, the Omnibus Crime Bill of 1994, also known as the Clinton Federal Assault Weapons Ban, prohibited the OA-93 shortly after its introduction. However, it was still available to Title II dealers and Law Enforcement in both semi and select fire modes.
