The Palmetto State Armory M4 Carbine Upper is a rugged and reliable upper receiver assembly designed for performance and durability. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, it features a 16-inch barrel made from 4150V chrome moly vanadium steel, known for its strength and heat resistance. This upper is built on a forged 7075-T6 aluminum flat-top receiver, hardcoat anodized to military specifications for added durability and longevity. It comes equipped with a forward assist and dust cover, offering standard functionality expected of a mil-spec AR upper. A full-length Picatinny rail runs across the top of the receiver and the included 13.5” PSA Lightweight Hex M-LOK handguard, allowing for versatile mounting of optics and accessories. The handguard’s M-LOK compatibility ensures customization options while keeping weight down. Please note, this upper does not include a bolt carrier group or charging handle, offering flexibility for users to choose their preferred components.
