The Pedersoli Missouri River Hawken Rifle is a 50 caliber percussion model that is a reproduction of the plains style rifle manufactured from 1840 to 1865. In the pursuit of old-world muzzleloader craftsmanship, the artisans at Davide Pedersoli set out to create a masterpiece of big-game hunting efficiency.
The Pedersoli™ Missouri River Hawken features the classic lines and incredible performance of the .50 caliber Missouri Rifle. The Missouri River version features a precision-rifled, rust brown finished 30" octagonal barrel with six-groove rifling and a tight 1:24" twist rate to deliver superior downrange precision with sabot and conical bullets alike.
The Pedersoli Missouri River Hawken comes with a reliable #11 percussion lock that has been color case-hardened for subtle beauty and excellent performance. The Missouri River Hawken sports adjustable double-set triggers, blade sights, a gorgeous walnut stock, and hardened trigger guard and buttplate. The Pedersoli™ Missouri River Hawken comes in right-handed models only.
The Pedersoli Missouri River Hawken Rifle sports a one-piece European Walnut stock with satin finish and a beautiful .50 caliber browned barrel. The 30" browned barrel features a 1:24" twist. The longer barrel allows for greater muzzle velocities and is capable of 200-yard tack-driving accuracy. The Missouri River Hawken Rifle is made by Pedersoli™ in Italy and is 46 7/8" in overall length and weighs 9.26 lbs. This Pedersoli™ Missouri River Hawken Rifle is great to take out in the field or simply display on your wall.
