The Taurus PT111 Millennium Pro is a 9mm pistol that is small, powerful, and lightweight, making it easy to carry in your pocket or bag. Although it is relatively affordable and compact, it comes with some features that you would typically find in larger, high-end handguns such as a trigger safety, a loaded chamber indicator, and Taurus' patented security system. The Millennium Pro measures 6.1 inches by 5.1 inches by 1.1 inches and weighs around 18.7 ounces when unloaded. It is the perfect concealed carry weapon, holding 12+1 rounds and featuring the same single-action/double-action trigger mechanism as the Taurus PT 24/7. Under normal circumstances, this is a single-action pistol. However, if it fails to discharge, it reverts to a double-action system, allowing you to pull the trigger for a second strike. The trigger action is smooth, has a long take-up, and resets easily. The magazine release is flush, and the gun has an ergonomic design that is mechanically faultless. It has a stainless steel slide, a polymer frame, and a textured polymer grip, making it easy to get a good grip in different weather conditions. The grip is wider than other similar-sized pistols, and the Heinie Straight Eight sight allows for rapid target acquisition. The Taurus Millennium Pro is a low-maintenance pistol that can function perfectly even if you don't clean it frequently.
