Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
Randall Firearms was a pioneer in the industry, producing the first production stainless steel 1911 at their Sun Valley factory in the 1980s and also making the first left-handed 1911. The company had been an established company that was in the aircraft instrument repair business and decided that it needed to diversify. The company got together experts from all the big names in the industry, such as Smith & Wesson, Colt, Remington, and Winchester, to form a company of experts. The founder, Ken Lau, had met Brigadier General Russel Randall while working in the aircraft industry, and he was bright on board as an advisor, and the new company took on his name. The company got a contract from the South Korean government for an order of 1911s, but it was cancelled, so they decided to enter the commercial market.
The first of the pistols rolled off the line in 1983 and was standard 1911A1 but with a stainless construction built with Laus aircraft quality machining practices. The company would go on to make 24 models with 12 variations and three different calibers before going out of business. With only 9,968 produced with all the different models, it makes for some rare models. This Randall Service Model C was Manufactured prior to the "Raider' name change that occurred in 1984, which makes this particular model quite collectible.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3 day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
