The Remington Model 1100 semi-automatic shotgun is a high-quality shotgun designed especially for clay shooting sports. The Competition model has a gas-operated system that functions smoothly with 2-3/4" light field and target loads. The 1100's recoil-reducing gas-operated system and a recoil-reducing stock help to absorb recoil, making it easier for shooters to take rapid follow-up shots without feeling fatigued. The buttstock and fore-end are made of a rugged composite material with a carbon graphite finish and have textured grip surfaces. The adjustable comb allows the shooter to get their head up and aligned with the 10mm, dual-bead ventilated rib. This enhances the shooter's ability to see rising trap targets, and the ivory front bead and steel mid-bead improve target acquisition. The bore features a lengthened forcing cone, and the 1100 Competition comes with a full set of five Briley, Target, and ProBore choke tubes. The receiver and all internal parts feature a slick, nickel finish to guard against corrosion and enhance the smooth, reliable cycling of the action. Any orders placed with magazines that are not compliant with your state, county, or city regulations will not ship with your order.
