The Remington Model 700 is a popular line of bolt-action centerfire rifles produced by Remington Arms in the U.S.A. since 1962. It has been the top-selling bolt-action rifle since its inception, and its 3-rings-of-steel receiver is known for its legendary strength. The rifle has a 5R barrel that enhances its accuracy and makes it a top choice for military and law enforcement officers. The Model 700 has been used extensively by the US Army and Marine Corps as the basis for the M24 and M40 military sniper rifles. The rifle is available in many configurations, with a 3-, 4- or 5-round internal magazine based on the caliber chambered, and some models have a detachable box magazine. The Model 700 is highly customizable, with many aftermarket variants built on the same action footprint. Whether you are defending freedom or pursuing big game, the out-of-the-box accuracy of the Remington Model 700 is unmatched.
The MPA Bolt-Action Chassis system is specially designed to provide a highly precise platform for the Remington 700 Action series short action. Whether you want to increase the accuracy capabilities of your stock Remington 700 by utilizing the V-Bedding system to add tactical features to your rifle or even build a super precision rifle for F-Class, F-TR, or other long-range competitions, the MPA BA Chassis is the perfect solution that will exceed your expectations with its world-class chassis and bedding system. The V-Bedding system is also designed to allow the action's glass bedding and the barrel's straight section if required. The chassis is machined on CNC Horizontal Machining Centers with 6061 aluminum to exacting tolerances. The MPA-produced Buttstock includes an adjustable length of pull, recoil pad with height and cant adjustment, adjustable cheek riser, and adjustable Monopod. The monopod can be locked into the vertical position and has a quick height locating method with fine adjustment capabilities. When not in use, the Monopod tucks into the frame of the buttstock. The length of pull is adjustable between 13.75 and 14.75 inches. The weight of the chassis is 5.7 lbs. The coating is ceramic (Cerakote) or powder, available in various colors. The upper Night Vision bridge provides a seat for a picatinny rail, and a matching rail is mounted to the bottom of the chassis, giving the shooter plenty of rail space for various enhancements.
