The Remington Arms company produced the Model 721 and Model 722 bolt-action sporting rifles between 1948 and 1961, with a later variant called the Model 725. These rifles were created to replace the previously short-lived Model 720. The Model 721/722 is considered to be one of the first modern and economically produced sporting rifles. Its design was so successful that it continued for many years with the highly popular Model 700. The Model 721/722 is known for its exceptional accuracy, manufactured with high precision. Its bolt and receiver design, based on the Mauser action, is considered one of the strongest ever produced.
This is a Remington 722 Custom bolt action rifle that's chambered in the .22-250 cartridge and comes equipped with a 21 1/2" heavy stainless steel J.B.Dever barrel, a mounted scope base which gives you the option to mount an optic of your choice and a laminated left handed thumbhole wood stock.
