The Remington Peerless Field Grade is an over/under shotgun that was part of Remington’s Premier series, manufactured during the mid-1990s as a high-quality sporting firearm designed for upland hunting and field use. Built on a boxlock action and available in gauges such as 12, 20, and 28, the Peerless featured a solid blend of craftsmanship, performance, and affordability. Unlike Remington’s more common pump or semi-automatic shotguns, the Peerless was imported from Italy—manufactured by Fausti Stefano—and marked Remington's re-entry into the over/under market after a long hiatus. The Field Grade variant, while more modest than engraved or higher-tier versions, still boasted well-fitted walnut furniture, a ventilated rib, single selective trigger, and interchangeable choke tubes.
