The Remington Sportsman 48F Premier Grade is highly sought after by collectors for its limited production, elevated craftsmanship, and its association with master engraver Robert P. Runge, whose initials “RPR” often appear on these examples. Celebrated for its refined walnut, elegant finish, and extensive hand engraving, the 48F represents one of the most artistically detailed factory offerings of Remington’s postwar era.
