The "Saw Handle Derringer" or Remington Vest Pocket Pistol was created by William H. Elliot. This single-shot pistol was intended for personal defense as it was compact enough to be concealed in a pocket. It was offered in rimfire calibers such as .22, .30, .32, and .41. The pistol was also available in blue, silver, or nickeled finishes, with around 20,000 units manufactured from 1865 to 1888. You will not find another one this old in this sort of fine condition!
