The ROMARM Cugir Carpati Model 95 in .380 ACP is a semi-automatic pistol produced by ROMARM, a state-owned arms manufacturer based in Cugir, Romania. The ROMARM Cugir Carpati Model 95 features the original finger-grip magazine, offering improved handling and control during operation. This all-steel construction, double-action/single-action (DA/SA) pocket-size pistol is designed for reliability and durability in a compact form. It includes an ambidextrous decocker, though it is missing the right-side lever, as many of these exported models were produced without it. The Carpati Model 95 is the commercial export version of the Carpati MD.74, which was originally produced by the Romanian arms factory Fabrica de Arme Cugir during the mid-1990s. Unlike the original .32 ACP chambering of the MD.74, the Model 95 was specifically designed to fire the 9mm Browning Short (.380 ACP), a popular caliber for self-defense and compact firearms.
