This Rossi Model 62-SA is a pump-action rifle that is chambered in .22 short / long / long rifle cartridges with a 23” barrel. The rifle was imported by Interarms, a company that was founded by Samuel Cummings which was used (at least for a time) as a front by the CIA which made massive profits off the import of various guns into America for resale on the civilian market. The Model 62-SA or slide action (another term for pump-action) is based on the Winchester Model 1890 “Gallery Guns”. The rifle is a fun utilitarian plinker that offers the amazing features of the classic Winchester rifle but without having the issues associated with firing a gun that is well over 100 years old.
