The Rossi Model 971 is a revolver produced by the Rossi Firearm Company of Brazil. It was previously owned by Interarms Firearms of Alexandria, Virginia. The 971 is available in .38 Special and .357 Magnum calibers only. The revolver is double-action and can fire six rounds per load. It weighs one pound and fourteen ounces. The length of the revolver is nine and one-eighth inches, depending on the barrel length, and it is five and seven-sixteenth inches tall. It is made of steel and has a blued finish. Additionally, the 971 was also manufactured in a stainless steel model. The 971's sights are adjustable, and its sight radius is five-fifteen-sixteenths inches.
