This lightweight, compact 30 caliber rifle is chambered in Ruger's short action 300 RCM (Ruger Compact Magnum). Designed to give 300 Winchester Magnum performance in a short action rifle, the 300 RCM is great for medium to large American game animals. While the energy at the muzzle is admittedly almost a thousand foot pounds less than the Winchester Magnum, The Ruger Compact Magnum still delivers a punch easily suited for bringing down a Grizzly.
