According to the invoice from Turnbull Manufacturing Co., Inc., this Ruger New Model Blackhawk, serial number 46-01961, was sent to them in 2016 without grips and underwent a series of detailed restoration and customization steps. The work performed included disassembly and thorough cleaning (DASS), followed by the fitting of a steel grip frame and ejector rod housing (SMITH). All parts were stripped and polished to achieve the correct finish (POLISH), and the frame, loading gate, and hammer were color case hardened (CC) for a distinctive, durable appearance. The Ruger Blackhawk parts were then charcoal blued (CB) to enhance both their aesthetics and corrosion resistance. Finally, the revolver was oiled, greased, and reassembled (ASSEMBLY). This particular example is also equipped with Sack Peterson Genuine Elk stag grips, adding a unique and premium touch to the firearm.
