It was subjected to 130°F desert heat, -50°F arctic cold, salt fog, high-altitude environments, 24-hour rain exposure, solar radiation, heavy fouling, drop testing, and an incredible 150,000-round live-fire endurance test at the factory. Law enforcement agencies later conducted their own evaluations, firing an additional 50,000 rounds. In a NATO trial pitting it against top pistols from Austria, Germany, and the United States, the SAR9 stood out as the clear winner after 90,000 rounds. But the SAR9 offers far more than toughness and reliability. This lightweight, polymer-framed, striker-fired 9mm pistol is engineered for natural pointability and an exceptional shooting experience.
