It endured extreme conditions such as 130-degree heat to simulate desert environments, -50 degrees for the Arctic, salt fog, high altitude, 24 hours of rain, solar radiation, fouling, and drop tests. It also underwent 150000 rounds of live fire in the factory. Police later conducted their own test, firing 50,000 rounds. In a NATO test against major manufacturers from Austria, Germany, and the U.S., the SAR9 emerged as the clear winner after firing 90000 rounds.
