Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The single shot shotgun has been around for a long time. It has a good reputation for a lot of good reasons. It doesn't cost much to buy, it has a simple mechanism, and is easy to use. Savage Arms is an American gunmaker based in Westfield, Massachusetts, with operations in Canada. Savage makes a variety of rimfire and centerfire rifles, as well as Stevens single-shot rifles and shotguns. The Savage Arms (Stevens) Model 940 was made from 1961 to 1970. It is the single-shot shotgun that took the lever from the top and moved to the side where it's practically under your thumb at all times. This improvement may not have been earth-shaking, but it makes it easier to open and makes this model ideal for beginners! This example is chambered in 12 gauge 2 3/4" and features a 28" barrel with a Full choke bore. It wears a blue finish and smooth hardwood furniture.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3 day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
