This is a Savage Model 6D Deluxe, a semi-auto rifle chambered for 22 short, long, and long rifle cartridges, (although it functions in semi-auto only with 22LR). The Model 6D is basically the same rifle as the Stevens Model 87A, and features a walnut stock, blued finish, and adjustable rear sight. It is fed by means of a tubular magazine under the barrel. This has been a popular design for a long time and carries a lot of history and nostalgia for many people. It certainly is a very unique looking and operating rifle and we hope that the next owner will fully appreciate the versatility this rifle has to offer.
