Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Sig Sauer pistol, referred to as P250, is a semi-automatic firearm produced by Sigarms (now known as Sig Sauer Inc. of Exeter, New Hampshire). This hammer-fired pistol was introduced in 2007 and can be chambered in various calibers, including .22 Long Rifle, .380 ACP, 9×19mm Parabellum (9mm), .357 SIG, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP. The pistol chambered in 9mm was launched in the North American market on November 7, 2007, followed by the .45 ACP compact model in February 2008 at the SHOT Show. The last of the models was introduced in late 2009. However, as of January 2017, the P250 was no longer listed online by SIG Sauer, except for the .22 Long Rifle version, and no P250 was listed as of January 2018.

The P250 does not have any manual external safeties. Instead, it has a firing pin block that helps prevent accidental discharge. The trigger system is a self-decocking DAO trigger system with a spurless and recessed hammer. The trigger system has a pull weight of about 45 N (4.6 kg, 5.5 lbs). The handguns are available in three finishes: dark-colored Nitron slide, two-tone with untreated stainless steel slide, and diamond-plated. The grip module on the P250 Compact was changed in 2009, which affected magazine compatibility. The old magazines are not compatible with the new grip modules, and the accessory rail was changed from a curved rail to a Picatinny rail.
