The Sig Sauer P290RS Enhanced is an upgraded variant of Sig’s compact, hammer-fired P290RS, purpose-built for concealed carry while adding refinements that improve handling, aesthetics, and overall user experience. Chambered in 9mm and utilizing the same locked-breech, short-recoil operating system as the standard P290RS, the Enhanced model retains the “Restrike” capability — allowing a second trigger pull on a misfired round without cycling the slide — a rare and practical feature in modern subcompacts. The most notable upgrades in the Enhanced edition include improved ergonomics through redesigned grip panels, often with more aggressive texturing and stylish finishes, as well as visual refinements such as laser-engraved slide markings and polished accents.
