Bryant Ridge Auction Company is pleased to present this beautiful double action revolver today for a penny start auction, this is the Smith & Wesson 27-2 also known as The .357 Magnum! The 27 is the sister model to such classics as the 29, 26, 25, and 24 models.

The Smith & Wesson Model 27 is a six-shot, double-action revolver chambered for the .357 Magnum cartridge and manufactured by the United States company Smith & Wesson. It was first produced in 1935, and many versions of it are still in production today. The Model 27 was built on S&W's carbon steel, large N-frame, and had adjustable sights. Reintroduced in December 1948, this postwar model now incorporates a new hammer block and ostwar improvements and so indicated with an S serial prefix. 6-shot fluted cylinder with a nominal length of 1.62" ,blue or nickel, original barrel lengths were 3 1/2" and 5" heich were discontinued in 1979. The 4", 6", 6 1/2", and 8 3/8" barrel lengths were available in later production.
Condition and Contents:
As you can see in the many high resolution photos, this Smith is in Great condition showing only light indications of consumer use and handling over the years that we can see!
