The Smith & Wesson .32 S&W double-action revolver was a 5-shot revolver with a fluted cylinder that had a nominal length of .92". It is available with barrel lengths of 3-inch or 3 1/2-inch, while 6-inch is rare, and 8-inch or 10-inch is quite uncommon. The rounded-rear trigger guard replaces the reverse curved trigger guard. It comes with a standard finish of blue or nickel. The front sight is a pinned round blade, and there is a notch cut into the barrel latch for a rear sight. It has a top-break action with auto extraction of spent shells. The frame's left side is held in place with one screw, and the serial number range is from 43406 to about 282999.
