The Smith Wesson 460XVR was first introduced at the 2005-Shot Show, it was a new caliber from the efforts of S&W, Hornady, and Cor-Bon. It is often referred to as the "EXTREME VELOCITY REVOLVER"! The velocity of the cartridge will exceed 2300 feet per second using a 200 grain bullet with 2400 Ft. Lbs of energy! The barrel has a gain twist rifling!
