Early production models feature a set screw that disables the double-action mechanism, making the pistol operate in single-action only—ideal for bullseye shooting. The Model 52 came equipped with a 5-inch barrel and a single-stack magazine, optimized for reliable feeding of wadcutters. The sighting system includes a 1/8-inch patridge front sight on a ramp base and a fully adjustable rear sight for windage and elevation.
