Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Smith & Wesson Model 610-3, also known as the 10mm Stainless Revolver, represents a unique chapter in Smith & Wesson’s revolver lineage. Originally introduced in 1989, the Model 610 was produced in limited numbers, with just 4,560 units manufactured between 1989 and 1992. Its chambering in 10mm Auto set it apart from other revolvers of the era, offering shooters the power and versatility of a semi-automatic cartridge in a robust, large-frame revolver platform. Following its initial run, the 610 was reintroduced in 1998 and again in 2001, underscoring its enduring appeal among enthusiasts and collectors alike.

This particular example, the Model 610-3, features a stainless steel construction with a 3.875" barrel, providing both strength and balance. It is outfitted with a pinned blade front sight paired with an adjustable white outline rear, allowing for precise targeting. The textured synthetic grips, accented with S&W monograms, ensure a secure and comfortable hold, while the double-action mechanism provides smooth and reliable operation. With its combination of durability, accuracy, and distinctive chambering, the 610-3 stands as both a practical revolver for the range or field and a collectible piece of Smith & Wesson history.
