Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Smith & Wesson Model 625 is a double-action revolver that can hold six rounds, and it uses moon clips. The revolver is chambered for the .45 ACP and .45 Colt cartridges (Not Interchangeable). The Model 625 is an improved stainless steel version of the Smith & Wesson Model 22 and is directly descended from the Smith & Wesson M1917 revolver that was first issued during World War I. The Model 625 is based on S&W's stainless steel N frame (large) revolver. It was initially introduced as the .45 CAL MODEL OF 1988 and came equipped with a 5-inch barrel with a full-length underlug. The regular production model of the Model 625 was introduced in 1989. It was also made with 3-inch and 4-inch barrels. However, standard offerings now only include the 4-inch and 5-inch barrel options.
The S&W Model 625 Mountain Gun is a lighter version of the 625, featuring a shortened underlug and tapered barrel. One side of the barrel has "Mountain Gun" etched on it. The standard Model 625 Mountain Gun is chambered to fire .45 Colt through a 4-inch barrel. In 2001, a limited edition was also manufactured by the Smith & Wesson Performance Center that uses .45 ACP ammunition. Both of these revolvers come equipped with adjustable rear sights and Hogue rubber grips.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3 day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
