The Smith & Wesson J-frame model 651, also known as the .22 M.R.F. Target Kit Gun Stainless, was first introduced in 1983. It was discontinued in 1988, but later reintroduced in 1991 before being discontinued again in 1999. The Smith & Wesson 651 is a Stainless Steel version of the classic Model 51, chambered for .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire. This gun features a 4" barrel and comes with a red ramp front sight and an adjustable rear sight. The Smith & Wesson 651-1 'kit' pistol is aptly named for its usefulness in one's 'kit' when going on hiking, camping, or other outdoor excursions.
